Hi Kyle,
I've just done the Hydraulic Conversion and although I put in a new Clutch and Pressure Plates I guarantee you that my half worn clutch plate would have acted the same. Why I did it was the pathetic mechanical advantage of the Pedal, cable and fork assemblies. I can now easily depress the clutch with my hand! Another point, I made an extension that brought the fork shaft above the engine and with a 1/2" breaker bar will all my force could ONLY just disengage the clutch! The clutch cable I removed had done 30,000Kms and had not frayed. What upsets me is I have a brand ne cable assembly for a RHD that I'm trying to get rid of.
