A professional will always measure, then determine. He will also check all things out - if one cable( 80$ or so for the set) is on its way to the brake-cable bone-yard, that will have to be repaired/replaced BEFORE doing the fairly expensive drums and shoes..
Then there is that little, all important bracket which could fail due to rust. No sense in replacing ANYTHING until that is fixed !!
Check out eEuroparts.com prices and other, of course; Hell, for all I know, the SAAB and Corvette setup could be the same, at least for the hand brake....
I kinda wonder, if ,had you bought the old shoes to a brake place , they could have adhered new linings in for $10 per shoe ?? ??
