Check for signs if coolant in the engine oil after a run when the oil will be stirred up. If it looks milky, then the head gasket is gone. Also look for signs of oil or soot in the coolant reservoir. The reservoirs can be stained over time and you should look through the cap. At that time inspect the cap's rubber seal ring for damage.
Clutch: Was the throwout bearing replace then? Do you have a cable clutch or hydraulic?

If your engine has gear type hose clamps, they can leak as the rubber case of the hoses yields under the clamps which reduces the clamping force. These need to be re-tighened every two or three years. The smaller hoses are more prone to leak this way. Remove the shroud around the throttle body (no tools required) to better see the hose clamps. Coolant leaks often do not leave a stain that will pin-point the location. The two heater hose connections at the firewall need to be accessed from under the vehicle, above the cat converter. Best to also remove the heater box rubber drain 'horn' and clean it while you are there. Can be done when on jack stands or a lift. There is anther similar drain horn, larger and higher up behind the throttle body area that drains the cowel infront of the windshield. These often are full of trash and need to be cleaned every few years. These can be pulled off carefully and refittend by hand.
The head bolts can be re-torqued by a mechanic, this can solve minor leaks in many cases and is a gamble against the expense of a head gasket job.
Coolant pumps to fail. If not the pump and the seals, then the pump to block adapter o-rings get too hard to maintain a seal. Hard to see in there, but can be done. Stains on block below the adapter.
