Thank you Dean and jsteele! I looked under the hood after work - checked the oil cap was secure (it was), started looking at hoses...
Noticed a hose just kind of hanging loose, near the 10o'clock or so, just behind the top left corner of the engine (crankcase cover - not so good with the names yet). Then, I noticed a little hole on the crankcase cover (we'll call it that for now) - and lo and behold, said hole was the right size for said hose!
Plugged it in and all is well. Except I'm very VERY upset at the dealer. You see, the car was in for SAFETY and EMISSIONS inspections, and when they were through with it, they left the car in WORSE shape from a SAFETY and EMISSIONS perspective than when they got it.
Nothing like breathing in fresh exhaust fumes all last week (no wonder I felt like crap) - and, I'm just thrilled my 2 year old daughter got to experience that as well.
So - I'm bringing the car to the dealer tomorrow morning. I think its reasonable to ask for a refund on the throttle body cleaning job, as well as a refund on the safety and emissions inspections. Does that seem unreasonable?
