Anders and others,
Thanks for your advice. The oil pan came out easy, and I was able to move the engine enough using the jack on the subframe!
I am glad I got to it, because the balance chain tensioner guide was pretty worn out, so that'll be replaced too. Otherwise, all the internals look really clean and good.
1. Apparently the long exhaust stud is back ordered from Saab according to the dealer in OK, any thoughts on using the small stud instead? (lower corner passanger side)
I am seriously thinking about dropping the engine/tranny since I am almost there to replace the engine crank seal.
2. Do I need any special tools/tricks to replace/reinstall the clutch, TO Bearing, etc?, what other seals should I hit when it's out?
Thanks,
Moises
