Good suggestion, thanks. I wonder if there are directions in the Saab WIS, which I do not have. I plan to ask some of the guys in chat.
The car seems to have normal power and mileage on the road is about right, 28-32mpg. Almost 80% leakage on one cylinder, you would think I would notice something...
I took it in to let the professionals do the tests on the engine, they are a known shop and do a lot of work on newer BMWs Porshes, also Saabs but who knows. We did not get to checking the slack on the timing chain.
