Have lots of info from reading everyday for almost two years and studying the archives but still have many ????????????????????????
99 9-3 automatic base-have done only K&N filter
May do MBC when warranty is up (not that I have any clue how).
1. Will MBC do much for a base automatic with only moderate adjustments for safety reasons?
2. Summary of what I have read. Exhaust tone of sport exhaust is acceptable to most reasonable adults on this board (not too abrasive sounding) any comments
3. Regular sport exhaust from Saab offers 7 hp and 16lbs of torque to T5 (so I have read). Does the Viggen exhaust (including tip) offer the same for the 9-3 base auto in terms of increased preformance.
4. Someone a while back got the sports exhaust from turnershill in England. Is it essentially the same thing and partially stainless steel,It does not look like the one in the saab catalogue but the Viggen ones looks the same- is that the exact same? And are the pipes the same size as oem exhaust system?
5. Also if one purchases the sport exhasut are there any other recommended parts besides mnaybe a stainless steel clamps to hold them on.
6. My question is am I going to get the exhaust and later the mbc or not based upon all the above questions. I am not doing any throttle body things or suspension changes-just a little more juice through the filter, and possibly the exhaust and MBC.
All opinions welcome. Please
