It sound like you already have the exhaust system on hand. So why the concern about other exhausting issues?
No one has had an engine failure with the MBCs and the engine stresses are higher with the Abbott and other ECU mods. Some folks have had problems with the head gaskets but these were a Saab factory torquing error and occurs all across the board. Many have gone with the ECU maods and MBC's while on warranty. Some dealers like to install the ECU mods for fun and profit, on rather new vehicles.
Several folsk have the MBCs and ECU mods on automatic tranys and we do not have any reports of problems.
Either way, pay heed to advice concerning sysnthetic oil, clean injectors and fuel system cleaners. A neglected engine should not be boosted.
The MBC is very easy to install.
