Yes, I do consider myself "distintive." Thank you.
But my question was merely a pre-empt of what I might get from a Saab rep. or dealer. IE., if the pressure test doesn't show anything I want as much persuasion (factual) as possible to convince them to check / replace the head. It is leaking. It was leaking. I don't want it to continue leaking. It's a shame I have to spent so much time and effort trying to get it to stop leaking.
I tried once before with a supposedly "reputable" service center in Northern VA. They denied it was leaking. Hence they refused, with some very odd explanations. Saab was unable to convince them.
Thanks for your suggestion, it is a very good one. I *will* have them do the test and either fix the leak or replace the gasket. Even if it takes much more effort, I will persevere. I can sense that underneath some rough edges / care / issues ... lies the heart of an amazing, unique machine which whose heritage has already become legendary ... and I am starting to see why.
I look forward to ironing out the kinks, then toning her up (eg., VRK, ECU, etc...)
