I called and spoke with a friendly woman at Saab Financial. She tries telling me that this is not a bill I received just an inspection report. I said it has an itemized list of charges for excess wear.
She agreed that the items did not seem to constitute excess wear and they they often work out the issues with the customers when they call. I guess this means they charge you if you don't call and may not charge you if you do call. This does not seems like a professional way of doing business to me. I asked for a letter stating that I would not be charged for any of the items listed on the report. She was not sure if they were going to be able to do that but said she would check inot it. I informed her that I had already filed a complaint with Saab USA and with the State of California Attorney Generals Office.
All this leaves a very bad taste in my mouth. I was planning on getting a new 9-5 Aero but I am not sure I even want to deal with a company that operates this way.
