Do some searching though these boards you'll find a lot of great info on replaceing your factory radio. I did it myself and found the experiance to be an enjoyable one. The big thing is to do the research and get all the parts you'll need up front. One thing is mine was a 1999 9-3 SE and had the door amplified speakers. From your message I was unable to determine if you had this option. Also be sure to read the 900/9-3 Radio FAQ section but remember he had the older Clarion unit wich the pins don't match the Pioneer unit in 1999 and after 9-3's.
