Obviously most of these people don't have kids. I have two college daughters and both are in 02 9-3's. I'm in an 01 Aero and my wife is in an 00 Wagon. Why? Safety. As a personal injury lawyer I can't tell you how many times I've heard people say "I never thought it would happen to me." Last spring it did happen to my oldest daughter. She was hit head on when doing between 60 and 70 mph. She was hit by a drunk, high on cocaine as well, who was headed north in the south bound lanes of traffic, at 10 pm without headlights, and around a curve to boot. My daughter never got her foot to the brake. She walked away due to the fact she was in a 1999 9-3. The other driver who was in an old Daihatsu Chirade was killed instantly. It doesn't matter who was at fault if your kid gets killed. Put your child in a new Saab and don't think twice about what these other whiners say.
