I use Mobil1. When I got my first Saab (95 900SE) used from a Volvo dealer that used to sell Saabs until Volvo influended them to stop....the salesman gave me a several articles on using synthetic oil. Had already used Mobil1 w/great sucess in my Honda Civic SI (198k miles). Articles rated RedLine Oil the best. RedLine recommends changing oil at least once a year. I change every 5k miles w/Mobil1. RedLine is twice as expensive, but if I used that I'd kick the interval up to 7500 to 10k, on my second RedLine change for my Viggen.
