I have a car experiencing similiar problems and I may have found a fix. I have a 2k 900 se turbo. I have a strong background in electronic engineering, software development and a phd in fluid mathematics so I hope I don`t get too carried away here. I brought my car to several dealers & no one seemed to be able to find a fix for this stalling when cold. Since I have several vehicles I was afforded the time to assess my own dilemma. I removed the processor and main board. Using a dual trace scope I was able to troubleshoot to a component level by tracing the board & constructing a schematic. I constructed a grid using a .0012 vector reference for accuracy. At that point I calculated the input signals into an X Y axis and plotted my output. The degradation of the X axis below 4% throttle angle in level 2 while the Y axis was nominal obviously rendered the vehicle symtomatic. At that point through signal tracing I found a capacitor which I will call c-12 rated at 110 micro farads to show a value of only 55MF. Particle generation was negligeable. I replaced the faulty component and the vehicle appears to be running well. I`m not saying that this is your excact problem. It just happened to be mine. I give the service technicians a lot of credit for trying to find that problem, but I do not fault them for not finding it. I think that limited corporate resources, diagnostic equipment and corporate training all play a part in whether a technician will or will not locate a problem component. Unfortunately most field technicians do not possess dual trace scopes nor can they spend the time needed for troubleshooting that kind of problem. The most important lesson that I learned is not to categorize technicians as Fonzalunes`. I know that most of them are doing the best that they can and sometimes a little patience goes a long way. What I did to my own vehicle was no childs play. That got very involved and took about 2 months to complete. If you have a dealer that you are comfortable with, stick with them. Chances are they will get to the root of it. Good luck.
