I just spent $400 to get all four Viggen rims straightened (arrrrgh) last week and found the car to still vibrate at 65 - 75. I also felt that the problem was worse in accelleration situations.
Yesterday, I brought the car back to the independent I had do the work (Wheel & Rim Works in Watertown Mass) and they told me the Viggen rims tend to have metal memory and can go back out of round when they cool. They tweeked the rims cold to fix it but I can't say if it's fixed since I haven't been out on the highway yet. They also noticed the tread in the Perellis going back and forth on the ballancing machine and think that the tires might be screwed up from driving on the bent rims or an allignment problem.
I will post when I see if the problem has been solved. BTW - the folks at Wheel & Rim really showed they stand behind their work. I'm impressed. But if these Viggen wheels bend again I buying a forged rim to end the madness.
