Wow! It worked. Of course I dropped the stupid fuse behind the fuse panel. Fortunately someone who is coordinated saved the day and was able to get it out for me. Those fuses are in their tight--took quite a tug to get it out.
I called the Dealer and their Service Manager had no idea that this would solve the problem. Of course they only have 1 Saab tech.
