Thanks for your information and patience with me on this Eiron and Drewser!
I talked to Forge this morning about choices. Very nice people there. His take on this was:
DVR is based on the Stubby body so fitment will be the same. (Like Eiron said), just depends on what kind of maintenence you want to do or not do. DVR does not require maintenence while stubby does. Diaphragm on DVR can wear out, but he stated that no one has ever called wanting more diaphragms, so wear is slow.
The most interesting thing he said was that the FMDVS006 would be HIS choice if fitment is not an issue due to the larger surface area internally than the 007P. In the 9-3's, fitment is NOT an issue. It is right in front of you when you open the hood. Although, maintenence is slightly more tedious on the 006 due to the fact there are little allen head screws to take off and make sure you don't lose, where the 007 twists off.
I think I'm going piston over diaphragm as the DVR scares me a little...not sure weather 006 or 007 yet, but thanks for all of your input in these posts. Forge DOES seem to be the one to go with regardless.
Eiron...is Blue spring your choice?
