Everyone's always happy to help around here!

Just a quick note on your info: the DVR I have is NOT based on the Stubby model, but on the standard 007P. (Maybe they changed it in the past 6 mos?) The differences are that the side port is shorter on the Stubby, & it has a 3rd O-ring sealing the screw-on top. I've heard that the latest standard 007P now has this 3rd O-ring also, but the one I had (before I got the Stubby) didn't.

DVR:
This is a great valve in several respects.
There's no maintenance.
The actuation is quicker than any piston model due to the smaller vacuum volume, shorter travel of the spring & reduced mass of the diaphragm.
The diaphragm seals in a completely different way than the Bosch unit. The Bosch seals a flat diaphragm surface against a molded plastic port end. (Basically, you're sealing a sharp-edged tube with a sheet of rubber.) As this flat diaphragm repeatedly hits the end of the port, the edges of the tube wears holes into the rubber sheet. The Forge diaphragm has a molded-in O-ring which compresses against the end of the smooth, machined port, so the edges of tube don't hit the diaphragm the same way the Bosch design does. Also, the Forge diaphragm appears to be a somewhat tougher material than the Bosch diaphragm.
There's just one or two design changes I'd like to see before I'm a complete convert, & I guess that's what's holding me back from recommending the DVR over everything else available.

006P vs 007P:
Did Forge say why more internal surface area in the 006 was preferred? I can't think of why this would benefit the operation of the valve, assuming all the other design elements are done correctly. Increasing entry & exit volume is good, but internal increases may create more boost leaks & slow the actuation of the valve.
Also, maintenance is kicked up another couple of notches with the 006 due to the way it disassembles. You're guaranteed to lose a screw if you don't pull the valve out of the car before every cleaning/regreasing. Then there's the increase in time for disassembly/reassembly; on the 007, you don't even have to disconnect the vacuum line!
I've attached a link to someone else's opinion of why the 007's design is an improvement over the 006's.

Springs:
For your setup I'd definitely go with the blue spring. The green/yellow springs would only come into play if you restored your car back to stock, or if you decided to move the DV to another vehicle that couldn't use the stronger spring setup.

Let me know if there's anything I've left out, or if new questions come up. I'm also VERY interested to hear the explanation of WHY the 006 design is a benefit over the 007!!
