Well ......
There's a conflict in stories between Strat & Forge. Strat says the Forge DV had problems, Forge says Strat was their 1st US distributor & based their product on Forge's efforts. Both companies have made changes to their valves. (Strat doesn't actually fabricate their own valves the way Forge does, but they may control the design.)
As I mentioned before, I don't care for designs which add features unnecessarily. In my opinion, several of the features on the Hyper do just that. I don't have a Hyper to compare directly to a 007, so there may be something which is an actual improvement over the Forge. But besides the differences in design, I prefer the way the Forge products have been developed towards specific vehicle applications.
Both valves perform well, & I don't think you can go wrong with either company. I simply prefer Forge's practices & applications of design over Statmosphere's.
