The most important point made in this thread is that it is the first year of the NEW platform. Take for instance, the NG900 in 94(?). The first years of that redesign were riddled with problems. By '97 they had worked out many of the bugs. Aren't we used to this? Hey, Microsoft windows has more bugs than any car and crashes more than cars but the bugs get worked out for the most part over time. So will the 9-3SS. Each year, I'm am sure, it will get better, more stable, and more reliable. All first generation technology has its' flaws that need some work. The SS is no exception.
