Well, in the dark, in the snow, at the side of the highway... then it's not so easy.
Top of your engine - the cover that says 'direct ignition' - that IS the DI cassette. It's held down by 4 screws. The plug for the wiring harness is wierd if you haven't tried it. There's a funny clip that slides to hold it in place. Then you just lift straight up to pull the boots off the spark plugs. I suppose you could twist & turn & break things if you weren't careful.
