Should be like this:
When you put the top down, nothing happens to the windows unless you hold the Top button down for a while after the "beep" - then your windos should go all the way down as long as you hold the button. When you push the top button forward to put the top up, your windows should roll down about 4 inches, no matter where they were (this ensures that the windows don't get hit by the top as it unfolds). If you hold the button forward until the beep, and either a) keep holding it while you latch the top latch, or b) latch the top latch and then re-press the button forward, the windows should roll all the way up, as long you hold the button down. But if you let go of the button while the windows are going up, pushing it again won't do anything - you get one chance at the "auto-close" function. After that, you'll need to use the separate "all-four-windows" button to close the windows. It's worked that way on my convertible since I got it, and it's what the manual says it should do.
