but I am not convinced that this is the one to do the job. With no way to lock down the pressure, the settings changed on me probably from vibration.
I have actually changed to a different APR from Harbor Freight that is a diaphragm style regulator. The good part about the new one is that once you set the apr, you can lock it down. The downside is that the turn knob and lock mechanism is made on black PVC plastic, so I am not sure how this will do for the long run. I am still in search of the best APR while trying to keep it inexpensive. I want to look a Grainger as I understand that welding APR's are more sensitive. Can't find an Air brush APR yet, but if you do find one, let us know where. I also understand Fisher make good apr's as well. Grainger sells these. Just havne't nade it there yet.
The New Diaphragm regulator is doing well. Tested it in lower 60 degree weather and up in the 90 degree weather over the weekend. Worked consistently in both temperatures with no fuel cuts. the search continues.
