If you get some situations where you get on boost and it seems to bogg down or hesistate, or if you are on WOT and as you come off the throttle, the power seems to increase, I think that these are caused by not enough octane. I have that on and off with a 9-5 Aero. I can get 92 octane. I find that when I augment the octane by adding toluene and zylene 50:50 at around a 3% concentration, that these boost related things don't happen. So thats why I conclude that these are octane related problems. I estimate that I am increasing the octane from 92 to 93. So for my Aero, it seems like 92 octane does not cut it.
