I took everyones advise and was using 93 for about 6 months. Runs great and all (recent tune up and i check the plugs once a month)- get a consistent 380 between fill ups. Then gas prices shot up - yea no big deal if you fill up once every two weeks, but i usually have too twice a week, and it does add up, so i went with 87 octane. I have to tell you, i'm seeing absolutly no difference after the last two months. I still get 380 to a tank, still spin the tires in the first 2 gears with a chip in 3rd, and i'm driving a '99 base with nothing more than an MBC installed ! So i have to disagree with anyone who says they notice a difference in any 4 banger when higher octane...sorry !!
