re: My 99 9-3 cbase, manual, 90k:
I can't find a boost leak, and my mechanic took a quick look at all vacum hoses, and couldn't spot any signs of trouble. Did spot the fact that the battery is about dead, though - drops to 8V on load. This is any of itself wouldn't cause hesitant acceleration, would it?
Also, a gimpy rear tire which might explain the strange feeling under accelation, but does not explain the engine sounds.
I'll have to spend more time with this issue:
Also, I spotten a really sweet '00 5door Viggen getting the MP brace and Taliferro sway setup at TAP Houston. I couldn't beleive the great condition it was in for the miles it had on it - and I thought I kept my now hi-mile base 9-3 in good shape!
If that Viggen's anyone here's please email ,e, as I would love to hear how the sway/rack clamp combo changes things - (I'm SAS bar only).
