First problem with my 2003 9-3 Linear

I got my 9-3 Linear in March and just recently had a pretty major pain in the arse problem. I came back from being away for 2 weeks and my car was dead. The remote didn't unlock the door, I couldn't turn on the lights or dome lights and all electronics were dead. I figured it was a dead battery. I had not left on the dome light or the parking lights and had left the car for two weeks before without any problems.
When I tried to jump it off, I got electronics but instead of turning over I just got a clicking noise. I called Saab roadside assistance and 7 hours later and 4 phone calls AAA came. I couldn't shift the car into Neutral or back into park without power (I have an automatic). This was a real annoyance as whenever we wanted to shift out of park or neutral we had to hook up the jumper again.
So now I'm waiting until Monday to see what the dealer says. I didn't have any cash out of pocket as Saab covered the attempted jump and tow, but it's a big pain as I'm out my car this week-end and who knows how long.
So, what do you guys think is the problem? I hope it's easily reparable.
