I had the same problem with my '03 ARC twice since I bought the car in March 2003. The dealer has replaced the battery twice. The first time they said it was a bad battery from the factory.

The second time I insisted that a bad battery was an excuse and they needed to look into the real problem. They just happened to upgade/replace my OnStar system at the same time and it hasn't died since. I think the OnStar has a software issue and dosen't shut off and instead drains the main car battery. Have the dealer upgrade/replace your OnStar system and the problem shouldn't happen again.
