T-7 throttle body is motorized Posted by JimBlake [Email] ![]() ![]() ![]() In Reply to: 9-3 throttle body question, David G. Mills, Tue, 25 Nov 2003 12:58:44 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Your 2002 car has a motorized throttle body; drive-by-wire or whatever you want to call it... So yes, it's more than just a sensor attached to a normal TB. The rest of your message doesn't convince me whether the TB is actually at fault or not. But it sounds like you didn't know it was motorized.
If the TB is the 'only' culprit, what the @#*$& does that have to do with the HORN??? That would be a good question for the shop... But there's a lot of data buses in that car. Its not just wiring like my old '89 900.
6 Saabs since 1999. I'm impressed. We've only had 2 since '89.
