I got a certified Saab too. It is a 9-5. I noticed a small damage (a spot, not a crack) on the windshield after I got the car. The damage was "hidden" under one of the the windshield wipers. I found it after I washed my car. It seems that someone fixed it already. In my case, I probably cannot get the dealer to replace the windshield for me. My wife and I were quiet picky on the condition of the car (we tried to identify as many problems as possible to get the dealer redeuce the price). We found that the tires were 1 size smaller than what they should be. Among these 4 tires, one of them is a different type of tire and has different MAX Load rating. The dealer had SaabUSA sent them a set of tires with the right size. However we still missed something:
1. The bulbs of some courtesy lights were burnt out.
2. The car has some vibration on highway speed (wheel balancing problem or tire problem??).
3. Sometimes, there was some brake noise when I applied the brake.
4. There is no warning sound to tell me I was driving with the hand brake applied.
The dealer didn't give me the copy of the 110 points inspection worksheet. They gave me the 110 points inspection worksheet instead. They told me they did everything on the worksheet. If anyone wants it, I can scan it and email to him/her. I guess we just need to check the car ourselves (or pay the indy to check the car over).
