I have been too embarrassed to post, but I could use some pointers...
I ruined the leather of my rear seats (2001 Vigg 50k miles) by spilling acid on them. The acid hit both rear (horizontal) seats (left and right) but not the vertical seat backs. Both sides have four to six inch holes in the leather, the foam is fine.
The leather new from Saab costs $1400. My insurance company gave me $400 (thank God) because they figured I could find Viggen seats in a junk yeard. I do not believe they know that this car is somewhat rare, and I think there is a zero probability of finding a junked one, with seats, with Saab Trim Code K-04.
Any ideas of how to get the Saab leather cheaper? or after market? or a junked Viggen with great back seats? thanks.
