My guess is the rotor is not warped but is not properly seated on the hub. This happened to me when I replaced my rotors. The fix? - Remove wheel, remove set screw, run car in gear for a few seconds with brake applied. (hub will spin while rotor is held in place). hand seat rotor by turning rotor while applying pressure on the hub, replace set screw. Worked like a charm on my car, high speed braking is completely smooth. (BTW if this did not work I, was going to have to re-re the rotors and clean the hubs.) I doubt the OEM rotors are a problems even though I went with Zimmermans. The rotors I took off seem pretty solid. Rim design is not a factor in causing warping from one or two stops, if you were doing a track session, then that may come into play.
