FWIW my wrangler has offroad/snow tires specifically for getting the jeep through snow. mud, etc as well as pushing a snowplow.

When I am driving the jeep or yukon xl etc I am not willing to take aim at the soft snow to slow me down thus I keep my speed down so I do not have to worry about that. Actually, now that I think about it, I do the same with my viggen as well!

So since you can blow by them in the winter snow does that mean that when I blow by porsches, BMW's, etc by SAAB is superior due to my experience at drivers schools which has taught me how to controll my vehicle at the limit on wet & dry roads?

I find it interesting what you think about the hummers when they are just a overprice, underpowered, overweigh suburban/yukon xl! I see lots of hmmers on the road here, probably 5 hummers for every saab I see. Sad but true :(
If you would like to discuss low/high gearing as well as snowtires etc I am willing? Fortunantly I only have to drive the jeep/yukon when I need them for work or to tow our boat etc.

Did I say a yukon could handle better then a saab?

speaking of coffins... I am a funeral director :)

Rollover with the suburban/yukons is not nearly as common as the smaller narrow SUV's

jeep doing 60 mph on a on ramp? WHY?? It's a JEEP

I think it depends on what the uses are for the vehicle. For work a saab would suck thus we have a yukon xl. Or do you think I could haul a casket, make a removal, etc with my saab? Infant yes but adult no thus 99% of the time for my work a yukon xl wins, the smaller SUV's are a complete waiste for me.

I am not a SUV fan at all however for some of us they do have their place.

I would also have to guess that the reason why you see so many SUV's in the median & so few saab's is because saab sells what.... lets say 40K saab's a YEAR here in the entire USA? Now how many SUV's are sold a month in the USA? More then 40,000 a MONTH is my guess!!!
