engine, and something that "originally" ran a water pump. Saab sourced the design as an 1800cc motor, and used it that in that capacity, after some development, I think in early 99's. It was uprated to 2000cc, which then became the base 99/900 motor. So, I think the answer is YES, your SAAB motor, through the B235's, is related to early Triumph 4-pots.
