Is it possible that motor mounts can need to be replaced after 50K. I have never heard of motor mounts having that short a lifespan, yet it could explain some issues with the front axle in my '99 9-3 having too much play. Is the mechanic feeding me a line or is it is possible that the motor mounts in the cars were just designed poorly. Anyone have knowledge on this topic? Thanks in advance.
