Well, upon researching some more, I found that the 225/45/17's aren't even in stock, but the 215/45/17's are. I agree, I like the wider tire too, but I don't want to have to worry about any rubbing.
The reason I chose 45 series sidewall is so that I can maintain the speedo calibration, abs sensors work properly, etc. If I went from a 205/50/16 to a 215/40/17, wouldn't that introduce too much error? Since I'm going with the 215 width, should I just stick with the 45 series anyhow? Advice, Advice, Advice please....
