I would get it reversed. Demand it, if necessary.
Also, about the being down .3 qts after the oil change:
Saab supplied us (the dealers) with oil in 1 liter bottles. And 4 cylinder Saabs take 4 *liters* of oil for an oil change.
But now Saab has directed to purchase Mobil product (I did months and months ago - some dealers may have remaining Saab braned oils) - and Mobil product is in *QUARTS* instead of liters.
So the math says:
4 X 1 Liter at 1000 mL each = 4000 mL
But one quart = 946 mL
4 X 1 Quart at 946 mL each = 3784 mL.
216 mL doesn't look like much, but it's about 23% of a quart.
I give my techs 'topper bottles' - we DO NOT send out cars missing 1/4 quart of oil!
