Hey Jim,
Unfortunately, I had no insurance. For the first time in my sixteen years of driving, I let my insurance lapse. The engine in this car had blown the previous April, and it was off the road for almost four months while I had it rebuilt. During that time the insurance lapsed and I was completely squeezed for cash as a result of having to drop $4,400 into the engine. Just a series of unfortunate events, I guess.
