19mm vs 22mm?

22mm is the usual diameter of the upgraded rear bars we have been putting on (my 96 900SET has the SAS 22mm bar from a few years back, and more recently MP Performance and GenuineSaab have been frequently praised here). I don't know what the stock diameter is, but could your handling issues be realted to the relative diameters front and rear? Or maybe your installation woes resulted in an imperfect fit? I'm only specualting, not an expert -- waiting for judgment of Chris P or Dean or others.
