The bar I got was from genuinesaab.com (Taliaferro); silver-painted. I will measure it. Maybe I was sent the 22mm by mistake.
$150 is the total, including all the shipping costs, and all the nuts/bolts/sockets/loctite/penetrating oil that I had to buy along.
I have stock suspension, front and rear. The dampeners never bothered me. The car was quite smooth and soft. Smoother, in fact, than my '99 9-3 SE, which has obviously a much newer dampeners and springs.
I have 17" wheels, and 225/45 summer tires, inflated to spec: 40 psi cold front, 38 psi rear (Pirelli's recommended pressures for this size). I've tried both higher and lower inflations. Higher did not add anything, lower felt more comfortable, but it was below the spec, and I was afraid of potholes.
