Never ran out, tank is over half full right now. I tried the "tap the tank trick", and the pump ran when I turned the ignition on, but the car still does not start. Now when I turn on ignition, the pump does not run. If I cycle the ignition, should the pump run every time, or only when pressure drops below a threshold ? Is there a port for testing the fuel pressure at the injectors ? (There is on every fuel injected Mercury and Mercruiser I work on, and they are OLD tech)
