$895 option according to the window sticker, also have a dealer installed CD changer, $325 according to the receipt. You do make a good point about not having to worry about another dent or scratch, though if I were to keep the car I was planning to bring her back to good. In high school and college I detailed cars at a number of dealerships and that has made me really anal retentive about the appearance of my cars. The exterior condition made the decesion to buy this car rather difficult, but in the end I needed a car and the deal was pretty good. The lady who owned the car before me used the car for camping and kayaking trips every weekend as well as parked it on the street in D.C. so it got a little beat up over the years, the interior is in fine shape though. My thoughts have been that I can find a 1998 with around the same miles for the sale price of my car plus the cost of all of the repairs, so for around $7k, but unable to know where that would leave me with repairs on the next one. I wouldn't hesitate spending lots of money to keep it if it didn't have so many dents and scratches and paint damage.
