You then probably have gear type hose clamps. The clamping pressure gets lost as the hose material extrudes from under the clamp. This can lead to leaks. The OEM clamps do not work well on the small hoses and smaller/narrower SS clamps from the hardware store should be used, with a pad os duct tape folded over on itself between the clamp band and the hose to prevent the slots from damaging the hose. The OEM clamp has too large of a rigid gear body to which does not conform to smaller size hoses.
So retighen all of these clamps as you seek out the leak. The heater hose set, from the end of the head to the firewall seems to be the first to fail in many cases. At a time like this, it is a good idea to relace some of the hoses and do a system flush and many replace the t-stat then as well. Search for drs<underscore>install and read my cooling system work posts from years ago. Check the coolant pump are, the pump to block adaper o-rings may be hardened and leaking (common). Look to see of the pump pulley/wheel is tipping over... can wear a hole though the timing cover.
