2 ?'s-2002 viggen

1). Why did saab put a smaller front swaybar on a viggen? I know about swaybars and what sizes do to cars. But you would think based on the amount of torque steer/power the viggen has that they would have put the SE size in there. I put the 22 mm rear on which is good, but now the car feels uneven so I'm going with the bigger front. Anyone else done this?
2). My 2002 has 52,000 miles on it. I bought it off a guy that lived on mountian roads and would commute everyday. I was going over little bumps very slow no brakes and I could here clicking, but just a little and not all the time. I commute to work but it's all freeway. I was in a parking lot and cranked the steering full lock and pulled out and what did I hear, the good old sound of cv joints clacking away. It amazes me that a car with so little miles already needs a cv joint? Anyone else go through this on a newer car? Is it best to just buy a whole axle or pull the joint and replace? What is easier?
Thanks all
