Okay,
First off, thanks for the quick responses guys, its been all of 7 hours since I posted. I called the insurance company last night after scouring the 'net, and put my claim in. Apparently, their call volume is large due to Katrina, Rita, etc. Opened my airbox last night, sure enough, some water in it, and in my filter (K&N), as well as a blade of grass or two in the filter. I'm now pretty sure my entire engine compartment was under water, if anything, because of the brown water marks on everything. I've got fans running in the engine compartment and front/back seats. I also just noticed water in the foam in the trunk which is upsetting me, and noticed the twice computer under the drivers seat, didn't know anything was there...
I like the dehumidifier idea, I may try that now for a little while. Also, I read a post from dean years ago where he said that flushing the electronic components out with distilled water and letting them dry out brings them back to life. Harp, or anyone else, where is the alarm computer/component so that I can take that out and flush it.
I'm also curious if doing any substantial work, (i.e. taking out seats) would interfere with anything my insurance co will do in the future.
It sucks when you just spend good money to upgrade suspension, brakes, stereo, and then something incidental like this happens. Woe woe woe...
Thanks again for the reponses guys
