then keep them on - I get about 100k before the shocks/strut inserts feel worn and even though they are still in spec, they've clearly lost some pressure so on personal preference I change them at 100k -
My dad's 99 buick 3.8 supercharged(heavy front engine) was bouncing like a kangaroo at 65k - could tell the shocks had taken the punishment for soft springs and needed changing badly, but the Saabs tend to get 150k before needing changing unless you feel they're shot!
