That is something about those valves that I have wondered about. As is what do you do it its tight and pointing up.
Hard to tell if the brass or the aluminum threads has failed. The aluminum threads might be deeper than the valves.
What I would do is remove the valve, inspect the damage and degrease the threads in the pan<-( hard to do) and valve, refitting with lots of loctite blue. As the valve should not need to be removed later on, it makes sense to bond it in place. You will have to judge if the threads are usable for this process.
