Steering rack brace/ rear arb

I see that Genuinesaab.com offers a steering rack brace and rear anti-roll bar for about $300.00. Has anyone bought and installed these parts? If so, how difficult was the install and what were the results in handling and performance? I have been told that this is a good starting point for upgrading suspension components. Also, what spring/shock combination would improve the overall feel of stock components, without sacrificing too much ride comfort for improved handling? Thanks.
