On my '01 SE I've done the rack brace and anti-roll bar with Eibach springs, adjustable Konis, and poly bushings in the front...and well...you just can't make a silk purse from a sow's ear. That's not to say it isn't a whole bunch better than it was, but the reality is that it's a front-heavy front wheel drive car with an open diff.
The upgrades are very very worthwhile if you want to make your car a little better but if you're looking for something that will be a real animal in the turns than you're better off taking that money and buying a first gen. RX-7, rusty Z, or beat-up Miata for pretty close to the same amount of money...especially if you're going to pay someone to do the installation (brace and roll-bar are really easy installs though).
