Misfire with no codes- DI Cassette Question

I have a 2 door 1999 Saab 9-3 with auto transmission which misfires. The car misfires when accelerating however, no codes. It usually happens between 35 and 55 mph on days when the weather is about 70 degrees. Last year it seem to happen intermittently but when the weather was 85 degrees. This year seems to be happening at cooler temps and more frequently. The temp issue may be coincidental. I have replaced the following over the past year:
Replaced:
1. O2 sensor
2. Crank Sensor
3. Thermometer
4. Spark plugs
5. Fuel pump (not related to hesitation)
6. Water pump (not related to hesitation)
My mechanic was nice enough to let me use a test DI cassette for the 2000/1999 Saab (Blue DI Cassette) at no charge to see if it is the DI Cassette. I'm still experiencing problems.
Could this be related to the test DI and not using the 1999 red DI cassette?
What should the gap of the spark plugs be set at? My mechanic used Saab standard spark plugs (nothing after market).
There was one posting on here that outlined replacement of the ignition coils. I'm far from being a car savvy person. Do these exist in the 99 Saab 9-3? Could this be the problem?
I'm going to run techron once more to see if that helps.
Would someone be so kind to provide some other suggestions or input.
